"Dacrymyces spathularia" is a species of fungus in the family Dacrymycetaceae. Basidiocarps are gelatinous, frequently spathulate, and grow on wood, mainly in the tropics and subtropics. The fungus is edible and is commercially cultivated for use as an additive in the food industry.
