    1. Thanks NattyOne. I grew up around this stuff in the desert my whole life and the uniqueness of it has become almost invisible to me. Glad you found it interesting.
By the way, I lived four years in various parts of the UK. Beautiful, green and historic.

  3. Oh great - I know what you mean. We were lucky enough to have 3 holidays in the 2000's to Northern Arizona & Utah - Just love the slot canyon, the rock and the wildness/solitude - the Escalante Staircase, Canyonlands, the fifty mile bench road, the Grand Gulch Primitive area, North & South Coyote Buttes, White Pockets, & of course Grand Canyon, Zion, Bryce Canyon. Magic loved them all. Whereabouts were you in the UK - hope you made it to Scotland? Posted 5 months ago, modified 5 months ago
    1. One of our favorite spots was in Warrick, just outside the Cotswolds. Other places we visited or lived in was Oldham, Consent just below Newcastle, Morecombe, Durham, Leeds, Coventry, Rugby. A couple of my favorites also include the Magic roundabout in Swindon (crasiest thing I have ever driven) and of course we got to Scotland and played on the putting course of St. Andrews. I won! 1. Oh you've certainly done quite a bit of England - we live in Cumbria so about 45 minutes from Morecambe and my rugby team was playing Consett, 3 years ago before we were promoted. We look at the Pennines from the back of our house with the Lakeland Fells to the front. I remember driving round the Swindon roundabout 40+ years ago and there's one other at Hemel Hempstead, which is just as much fun. Certainly Crazy!! The North west of Scotland was a big miss, absolutely beautiful (Vancouver Island, Alaska, New Zealand even parts of Costa Rica - Just like Scotland except with - bigger mountains, more whales, Grizzly Bears, Humming Birds &/or Jaguars.....{;¬) Take care, I'm David.
