
"Ardonea tenebrosa" is a moth of the subfamily Arctiinae. It was described by Francis Walker in 1864. It is found in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil.

The moths IDed as Balbura sp. (and look like your moth) aren't research grade, so maybe they are misidentified. Or else, there are nearly identical species in different genera, perhaps based on location? Taxon change? What do you think? Posted 6 months ago
