  3. A beautiful coloration of the iridescent blue, green, and purple against the contrast of the red legs.
The 10th Commandment tells me not to covet or in modern language envy. Why do I repeatedly envy when I see an excellent image? Why didn't I take that? I could have done as well. Silly questions. I've always told my grandchildren, "There is ALWAYS going to be someone who will do it faster, and better than you, so just do the things that you enjoy and hope others will enjoy it as well."

The blue ant is, despite its name and its appearance, not an ant at all, but rather a species of large solitary parasitic wasp sometimes known as a flower wasp. It is a native of south and southeast Australia, including the Australian states of Tasmania, New South Wales, Victoria and South Australia.
