    1. The word "hopper" moved me to confusion, as I first thought it was related to grasshoppers (Orthoptera), but it turns out it is a treehopper or thorn bug (Hemiptera). Check this:

"Membracis foliata" is a species of treehopper in the subfamily Membracinae. It was first described by Carl Linnaeus in 1758.
