Astragalus spinosus is a desert shrublet of the Fabaceae family. it has many branches and long spines. it is 30-55 cm tall, with pinnate leave. flowers are white to light blue. the flower's calyx is hairy, bladdery. it inflates as the flower whither and turns to fruit.
