Peafowl
Peafowl are referred to as peacocks, and female peafowl are referred to as peahens. They are the national bird of India and are among the largest flying birds. Appearance: Peacocks are known for their iridescent tail feathers, which can grow up to 5 ft long and fan out in a brilliant display. The feathers actually grow from the peacock's back, not its tail.

The Indian peafowl or blue peafowl, a large and brightly coloured bird, is a species of peafowl native to South Asia, but introduced in many other parts of the world.
