  1. I Identified this plant as a Bromeliad Neoregelia although there was no match with Wikapedia Posted 11 years ago
    1. In this case, Wikipedia has no dedicated page for Bromeliad Neoregelia. Not to worry though, we have a solution for that. In such cases, you can request manual species creation. In the species dialog, open the "advanced" section and you will find the button to request it there. Posted 11 years ago
      1. That would not help either, because Neoregelia is a genus, not a single species. For the identification to match a Wikipedia species page or a species to be created manually, for the ones that are not available, you need to identify it to the species level. If you have an overview of the plant that could help. Looking at the spots on the side it could be a Neoregelia marmorata, but this is just a guess, more species may have similar spots.

  2. Hi,
I am not sure it is known as speckle Ox Blood and would almost certainly be a marmorata hybrid. There are so many hybrids these days so it is diffucult to be certain

    1. Sorry, I didn't see your reply. It seems to be an Australian breed, there is little reference about it. I guess it is a marmorata hybrid. Posted 11 years ago
