"Idiospermum" is a monotypic genus in the family Calycanthaceae. The sole included species is "Idiospermum australiense" − commonly known as idiotfruit, ribbonwood, or dinosaur tree − which is found only in two small areas of the tropical rainforests of northeastern Queensland, Australia.
