The fulvous-crested tanager is a species of bird in the family Thraupidae, the tanagers. It is found in Brazil, Colombia, Ecuador, French Guiana, Guyana, Peru, Suriname, and Venezuela. Its natural habitat is subtropical or tropical moist lowland forests.
