
Tucano-de-bico-preto (Ramphastos vitellinus), Fledgling
This is one of two fledglings found in the campus of UFSC (Universidade Federal de Santa Catarina). The parents were nearby watching their two babies fly off the nest for the first time.
I was keeping my distance as always.

The Channel-billed Toucan is a near-passerine bird which breeds in Trinidad and in tropical South America as far south as southern Brazil and central Bolivia.
