    1. Thanks! It took some effort, and the photo isn't great, but I had a great encounter with a pair and got to see them really well. Plus it's a beautiful warbler, very different to the ones we have in Peru, or even the classic North American ones. Posted 8 months ago

The elfin woods warbler (Setophaga angelae) is a species of bird endemic to Puerto Rico, where it is local and uncommon. Discovered in 1968 and described in 1972, it is the most recently described New World warbler (family Parulidae).
