
Tree lucerne moth
The adult moth appears in two basic forms. Here in the eastern states of Australia, it has dark brown/purple forewings, and bright yellow hind wings with a black border.
In South Australia and Western Australia, the forewings have a broad pale sub-marginal band.
Larvae feeding on Fabaceae. Wingspan 30 mm.

The Tree Lucerne Moth is a moth of the Crambidae family. It is found in New South Wales, Norfolk Island, Queensland, Victoria, South Australia, Tasmania and Western Australia.
