  1. Easily the endemic I most wanted to see! I was prepared to drive around every night to look for it, but that turned out to be unnecessary, as I saw two different individuals, in the backyards of two of our airbnbs! I literally photographed this one in flip flops, having heard it call while I was photographing frogs on the terrace! Posted one year ago
    1. Wonderful. And another step closer to 100 owls :) Posted one year ago
      1. That will be a great milestone! Despite all my untreated folders I don't think I've got any owls hidden up my sleeves, but I'll try to see a couple new ones next year, if nobody else gets them before me! Posted one year ago
        1. Don't have owl stock either :(
But we'll get there, no rush.

    1. Thanks! Sucha fantastic little owl, which I'd been wanting to see for a long time. And it really couldn't have been better, I heard them multiple times, including once when I was surrounded by a chorus with at least three individuals singing like crazy, saw them twice, and got good photos. My good luck with owls continues! Posted one year ago
  3. Well deserved Thibaud. Good luck for 2025 Posted one year ago
