Paparrazi in a pontoon. I am so outa' here.
The Great Blue Heron is majestic, with subtle blue-gray plumage. It often stands motionless scanning for prey, or wades belly deep with long steps. They move slowly, but Great Blue Herons have a lightning strike, to grab a fish or frog, or even small mammals. The Great Blue is the largest heron in North America, standing 3 - 4 feet tall, and with a wingspread of 6 feet or more. In flight, its neck is held in an S curve, and its long legs extend far out beyond the tail.

The great blue heron is a large wading bird in the heron family Ardeidae, common near the shores of open water and in wetlands over most of North America and Central America, as well as the Caribbean and the Galápagos Islands.
