A widely documented/known male Leafy Sea Dragon that was seen brooding a cluster of eggs.

This male has been around the dive site for many years, brooding several clusters of eggs every year and he has received a few knocks over the years, losing one of his leafy appendage behind his head, but he is still going strong.

The leafy seadragon or Glauert's seadragon, "Phycodurus eques", is a marine fish in the family Syngnathidae, which also includes the seahorses. It is the only member of the genus "Phycodurus".
