Red-throated pipit - Anthus cervinus
Червеногуша бъбрица
This bird breeds in the northern parts of Europe and is rarely seen in Bulgaria - only during spring and autumn migration. They do not stay long in one place, rest a few hours and move on. So it is great luck to see and photograph them. Exactly 4 years ago I photographed them in the same place, only in spring.

The red-throated pipit is a small passerine bird which breeds in the far north of Europe and the Palearctic, with a foothold in northern Alaska. It is a long-distance migrant moving in winter to Africa, south and east Asia and west coast United States. It is a vagrant to western Europe.
