Southern White Admiral (Limenitis reducta) Snapping this picture was a bit of &ldquo;planned luck&rdquo;. On our way in on a hike in Piemont we spotted this butterfly sitting with folded wings on a tree. Some hours later, on our way back, we hung around in the same spot - and indeed, soon it appeared and sat down on a flower.<br />

Southern White Admiral (Limenitis reducta)

Snapping this picture was a bit of “planned luck”. On our way in on a hike in Piemont we spotted this butterfly sitting with folded wings on a tree. Some hours later, on our way back, we hung around in the same spot - and indeed, soon it appeared and sat down on a flower.
