  1. These orchids are amazing. To think that one can find them in a meadow by a road...
    I would love to photograph them closely, investigating the colors and trichomes.

    1. If you ever come to this side of the world and to the island of Crete let me know and I will pass you the coordinates. It has to be from late March to May to see them. I was there in the third week of April this year :-)
      And many other islands of Greece have many orchids this time of the year as well!

"Ophrys fuciflora" is a species of flowering plant in the orchid family. It is widespread across much of Europe from Britain and Spain to Turkey and Romania, plus Libya and the Middle East as far east as Iraq.
