Rapeseed, also known as rape, oilseed rape, rapa, rappi, rapaseed, is a bright yellow flowering member of the family Brassicaceae. ''Brassica napus'' is cultivated mainly for its extremely nutritious, oil-rich seed, the third largest source of vegetable oil in the world.
