The Chattering Lory, "Lorius garrulus," is a forest-dwelling parrot endemic to North Maluku, Indonesia. It is considered vulnerable, the main threat being from trapping for the cage-bird trade. The race "L. g. flavopalliatus" is known as the Yellow-backed Lorikeet.
