    1. If I remember correctly, it went for a fish, missed it, stayed on the mud for a bit looking for some other prey, and then took off again. Posted one year ago

The black-collared hawk is a species of bird of prey in the Accipitridae family. It is monotypic within the genus "Busarellus". It is found in Argentina, Belize, Bolivia, Brazil, Colombia, Costa Rica, Ecuador, El Salvador, French Guiana, Guatemala, Guyana, Honduras, Mexico, Nicaragua, Panama, Paraguay, Peru, Suriname, Trinidad and Tobago, Uruguay, and Venezuela.
