Welted Lesser Mason bee (Hoplitis claviventris) A really beautiful little bee, here represented by a unmistakably green-eyed male, which seemed obsessed with this piece of chalk stone around which it appeared to be diligently patrolling,occasionally taking the time nto bask in some rare warm sunshine.<br />
