A male Bison Also known as Gaur, this is a majestic male. This photo is pretty noisy for my linking, but the animal is still worth taking about. Lives it herds and very protective. It might take couple of tigers to gang up to prey on them when they get to this size. Bos gaurus,Gaur, alone, forest, india, indian, longhorns, looking, male, wild, wildlife Click/tap to enlarge

The gaur, also called Indian bison, is the largest extant bovine and is native to South Asia and Southeast Asia. The species is listed as vulnerable on the IUCN Red List since 1986, as the population decline in parts of the species' range is likely to be well over 70% during the last three generations.
