Gusano medidor (acronytodes mexicanaria)

This inchworm, is an acronytodes mexicanaria, I took the photo on a farm in the state of Pachuca. Here in Mexico there's a myth that says that you should not stand under the tepozán tree because these buddies measure you and no longer grow.

There is also a children's song (performed by MIguel Bosé) that says:
Gusanito medidor, dime cuánto mido yo. Mídeme desde el zapato, por la pierna y por el brazo. Ay jiji, ay jojo. Gusanito medidor. Ay jiji, ay jojo ¡Qué cosquillas tengo yo!"

(Tiny inchworm, tell me how tall I am. Measure me from the shoe, from the leg and from the arm. Oh hehe, oh hoho. Tiny inchworm. Oh hee hee, hoho, how ticklish I am!).
