Red Barrel cactus or Ferocactus cylindraceus The red curved spines are needle sharp and tough as thick leather. They grab you pretty good too if you try to pull away. Be careful.<br />
First time I used the focus bracketing on the Canon R5. It worked pretty nicely.<br />

"Ferocactus cylindraceus" is a species of barrel cactus which is known by several common names, including California barrel cactus, Desert barrel cactus, compass barrel cactus, and miner's compass. It was first described by George Engelmann in 1853.
