  1. Interesting, a Euro trip! Hope you had a good time? Posted one year ago
    1. We had a great time.. It's been a while since we went overseas. We visited the little town (Barile) that my great great parents emigrated from for a couple of days and then spent the rest of two weeks driving (yes, I successfully drove in Italy without scratching the rental) around mostly in Basilicata, which is quite rural. It was absolutely beautiful weather and wildflower season - and I had no idea that there are orchids... tons of orchids in the area! Posted one year ago
      1. Did not know you have Italian roots. Happy to hear you had a great time, the series you posted is wonderfully diverse and vibrant, enjoying it a lot. Posted one year ago

Not to be confused with Monocesta coryli, also known as the "larger elm leaf beetle". "Xanthogaleruca luteola", commonly known as the elm-leaf beetle, is a beetle species in the family Chrysomelidae that is native to Europe but invasive in other parts of the world.
