In a field that had been farmed a few years ago. Thin, short plants with very small flowers- easy to walk on by and not pay any attention to. I was surprised by how beautiful the flowers were when magnified. I don't think the flowering branches drooped this much in the wild.
I'm calling it Rumex acetosella, but that's mostly a guess.

"Rumex acetosella" is a species of sorrel. The plant and its subspecies are common perennial weeds. It has green arrowhead-shaped leaves and red-tinted deeply ridged stems, and it sprouts from an aggressive and spreading rhizome. The flowers emerge from a tall, upright stem. Female flowers are maroon in color.
