Crab spider (Misumena vatia) with prey (Pararge aegeria)
I've seen many kinds of scenes like this, they never cease to amaze me. The crab spider can adjust its colour from white to yellow to green, according to the flower it is lurking on.
In this case, a Speckled Wood (Pararge aegeria) was the victim of its ingenious camouflage.

"Misumena vatia" is a species of crab spider with holarctic distribution. In North America, where it is the largest and best-known flower spider, it is called the goldenrod crab spider or flower spider, because it is commonly found hunting in goldenrod sprays in the autumn.
