    Thanks. I used a flash to freeze their motion. And it was a lucky shot- I couldn’t really see them through the viewfinder, and they were moving around like crazy- there were lots of shots that didn’t work out. Posted one year ago, modified one year ago

The Beech blight aphid

The beech blight aphid is a small insect in the order Hemiptera that feeds on the sap of American beech trees. The aphids form dense colonies on small branches and the undersides of leaves.
