    1. No idea. At the time, I probably thought it was unripe and would turn red. But, I can't find any photos of pink berries online, so think this might be some sort of defect or other variation. Posted one year ago

"Mitchella repens" is the best known plant in the genus "Mitchella". It is a creeping prostrate herbaceous woody shrub occurring in North America belonging to the madder family.
