    1. Thanks! It was a really fun trip, quite surpassed my expectations!
      Plus, what's really helpful is that the biodiversity of Chile is pretty well studied AND they have a really active inaturalist community so almost everything I saw is already IDed at species level, which is a lovely change of pace from Peru!

"Auca coctei" is a butterfly of the family Nymphalidae. It is found in Chile and Argentina. The larvae feed on various species of bunch grass.
