      1. Very nice. One of my most persistent nemeses down here in Peru is the Chestnut-breasted Wren. I must have had it a dozen times within a few meters of me singing its heart out, but I've never even seen it well enough to actually tick it off as a lifer! Posted one year ago
        1. Ha, the Chestnut-breasted. I don't think very many people have actually seen that bird. I teased some at La Minga in Colombia, but I'm going to have to check and see if I ever got a photo of that. Very unlikely. Posted one year ago

The song wren is a species of bird in the Troglodytidae family. It is found in Colombia, Costa Rica, Ecuador, Honduras, Nicaragua, and Panama. Its natural habitat is subtropical or tropical moist lowland forests.
