
"Tipuliforma" is a genus of moths of the family Crambidae. It contains only one species, "Tipuliforma triangulalis", which is found in New Guinea.

I guess my lesson learned here is that some species are exclusively reported in New Guinea whilst also occuring in Papua whilst not being yet recorded there. Posted one year ago
Fine, so now you might think that "Papua" would cover all provinces of Papua, Indonesia. But it doesn't, it's everything except that West Papua.
So that's why it's impossible to search for all of Papua at once and similarly you can't search for all of New Guinea (the geographical entity) at once as this is not a single political entity.
So yes, 3 separate searches needed :)
