Puerto Rican Oriole
Since I prefer to bird away from the hoardes of hikers in El Yunque; I love the very private property the guide in Puerto Rico suggested. At sunrise it was abundant with birds, mostly endemics. This Puerto Rican Oriole was one of many species sighted.
The Puerto Rican oriole is a species of bird in the family Icteridae, and genus "Icterus" or New World blackbirds. This species is a part of a subgroup of orioles that includes the North American orchard oriole, "Icterus spurius", and the hooded oriole, "Icterus cucullatus".

Setting the location of where your photo was taken is mandatory (needed for many features on this site) but in case you struggle with precise geotagging, you can alternatively just use the "set country" button where you can just pick the country from a list. Posted one year ago
