Tribe Gonodontini? Maybe Gonodontis for a genus, but I can't find a match. Posted one year ago

  Something like "Gonodontis pallida" does look close even if not an exact match. If not obvious from the photo, note that this moth is sitting at an angle. Posted one year ago

    You're welcome. :) Now, I'm wondering if we are looking in the wrong genus, though. There are other genera in the subf. Ennominae that posture like this.

        That's more like it! I too had a suspicion that we were not in the correct genus, but I did not have a better one to propose, looks like you do.
        
        It seems there's only 2 species in this genus, and the shape matches the species you linked to. Will go with it tentatively. Posted one year ago
