Photographed at Moana Beach South Australia and a common backyard visitor in south australia and very user friendly often seen swooping and feeding on insects even swarming around you when walking through the parklands chasing the insects being disturbed as you go ,ive had up to a dozen of them at a time feeding at my feet

The Welcome Swallow is a small passerine bird in the swallow family. It is a species native to Australia and nearby islands, and self-introduced into New Zealand in the middle of the twentieth century. It is very similar to the Pacific Swallow with which it is often considered conspecific.
