Rolled Dogwood (Cornus) Leaf Full of Frass I&#039;m assuming this was the home of either sawfly larvae (Tenthredinidae) or caterpillars (Lepidoptera)? I'm assuming this was the home of either sawfly larvae (Tenthredinidae) or caterpillars (Lepidoptera)? There were empty eggs inside, in addition to a bark louse prowling around on the outside of the rolled leaf.
