Arafura shrikethrush, Nimbokrang, Papua Obstructed and far away, but nevertheless an interesting bird. The species "Little shrikethrush" has been split into 7 species. This tentatively is the Arafura shrikethrush, but there's also a chance that it is the Mamberamo shrikethrush. Both occur in this area if we have to believe the scarce records available.
The latter would be exciting because it seems rarely/never photographed. Our guide Mehd is further looking into which of the 2 species it is.
Interesting bit about the (former) Little Shrikethrush is that it's highly poisonous, similar to poison dart frogs.
