  1. That's a lovely perspective and great depth of field. Posted one year ago
  2. I agree with Ferdy! Taking mushroom photos as stunning as yours is a goal of mine. Every photo is fantastic. Posted one year ago
    1. I don't have any special secrets... I use a digital camera mounted with a rather old lens - I've found my vintage 1980's manual focus Nikon macro works best for them - I tried my fancy new lens that I use for insects and still prefer the old one for this, natural light and long exposures, typically around a second to 20 seconds. I have a nice light, but sturdy ball head from my small aluminum tripod mounted on a Joby Gorilla Pod (it looks like since I bought this, they now come with a ball head) so that I can get my camera very low to the ground. I usually stop all the way down to f22- there's rarely a need for less DOF with tiny scenes... and that's it. All my secrets revealed ;) Posted one year ago, modified one year ago
      1. Well, all of that definitely reveals your skill. But, I also say that you have a very artistic eye and just an inherent ability to take lovely shots that goes beyond gear and camera settings. Posted one year ago
