  1. hi, Saddleback, welcome to JungleDragon! I have a few tips to help you get started here:

    - Please make sure your photos are on topic. Some photos such as photos of people, objects, buildings or pets are considered offtopic on this site and will be removed. As such I removed your photos of cats, dogs and horses. There's nothing wrong with them, it's just that this site has a focus on nature and wildlife photography. I hope you understand.

    - Please give your photos a meaningful title and description. "08c3c198-127c-46cc-94e9-d85c816305d5_zpsf7f6cbbf_(1)" means nothing to people and with such a title your photos can never be found by anyone when searching for a photo. You can do this by using the "Edit details" button below the photo.

    - Finally, it is good practice on the site to identify the species on the photo, if you know it. You can do this using the "Identify species" button to the right of the photo.

I hope this helps. The above 3 tips are the most important ones in the community, so once you get the hang of those, your experience will be much better and other people will enjoy your photos much better. Good luck!

The Sandhill Crane is a large crane of North America and extreme northeastern Siberia. The common name of this bird references habitat like that at the Platte River, on the edge of Nebraska's Sandhills in the American Midwest. This is the most important stopover area for the Lesser Sandhill Crane , with up to 450,000 of these birds migrating through annually.
