Ravens added to a black cat's bad day The neighbor's cat fought with her for a second time since I've met this cat. I've only seen her two times. Now the ravens decided to make her day more miserable with dive bombing and fowl language. At least she got food and attention. She's probably a stray. The Common Raven, also known as the Northern Raven, is a large, all-black passerine bird. Found across the northern hemisphere, it is the most widely distributed of all corvids. It is one of the two largest corvids, alongside the Thick-billed Raven, and is possibly the heaviest passerine bird; at maturity, the Common Raven averages 63 cm in length and 1.2 kg.
