Red-winged Parrot Aprosmictus erythropterus
central queensland gemfields
these beautifully coloured parrots are related to the king parrot, usually seen in pairs or just booting through the forest a fast low flyer, flashing their red wings as they go, only coming to ground to drink but being into berries flowers and insects will happily feed nearby for a good photo op!
