Parrots There are many free parrots in Queretaro, in the place where I took this picture are like 30 or 50 parrots and they live in colony nests, I would like to take some more pictures from them, this place is safe because is a big backyard from a house. The Monk Parakeet is a species of parrot, in most treatments the only member of the genus "Myiopsitta". It originates from the temperate to subtropical areas of Argentina and the surrounding countries in South America. Self-sustaining feral populations occur in many places, mainly in North America and Europe.
