This bird is known as the Flycatcher and appear in Queretaro every spring, it's intensive red and you may watch them near to houses, sometimes this birds come to my home.

  2. I know it as Flycatcher, the female bird on The Fiscal Flycatcher looks like the ones around here, then I guess it is that species, thank you. Posted 11 years ago
    1. It is a Vermilion Flycatcher (Pyrocephalus rubinus), the Fiscal Flycatcher is black. Posted 11 years ago
  3. Thank you very much, Vermilion got to be a synonym of red and in Spanish is Bermellón, I like this bird, there are many where I live, sometimes they fly to you and feels weird, but they are catching insects. Regards! Posted 11 years ago

The scarlet flycatcher or austral vermilion flycatcher is a species of flycatcher, closely related to the vermilion flycatcher. It is found in southeastern Bolivia and Brazil, Paraguay to Argentina and Uruguay.
