"Bombus terrestris", the buff-tailed bumblebee or large earth bumblebee Yesterday, October 1st, it was so warm (24 degrees) that some Bumblebee Queen, Bombus terrestris, woke up again and payed us a visit. Yesterday, October 1st, it was so warm (24 degrees) that some Bumblebee Queen, Bombus terrestris, woke up again and payed us a visit. She is quite large and the sound when she flies is deep and somehow enjoying.

"Bombus terrestris", the buff-tailed bumblebee or large earth bumblebee, is one of the most numerous bumblebee species in Europe. It is one of the main species used in greenhouse pollination, and so can be found in many countries and areas where it is not native, such as Tasmania.
