Found behind a lion statue
I heard vibrations. The cat, of course, was hanging around the pots and statue. I thought it was a flying bug. It turned out to be this mouse. It ended up going back and forth between those areas and the bushes. The cat kept running back and forth around it. After a while, I went inside. I suppose it lived for two reasons: it wasn't bestowed as a gift, and she's still searching those areas.
A day later, I guess the mouse returned. So did the cat's grouchy roommate. Two cats with heads in the bush and the grouchy one caught the mouse.
