Poorly Pipistrelle
Found this under a solar panel this afternoon, poor thing must have been attacked by something and found somewhere in the shade to shelter. I took it to the vets but I don't think the prognosis will be good (although I'm hoping I'm wrong) as one wing had the skin missing between the bones so it couldn't fly. Poor little thing.

The common pipistrelle is a small pipistrelle microbat whose very large range extends across most of Europe, North Africa, South Asia, and may extend into Korea. It is one of the most common bat species in the British Isles. In Europe, the northernmost confirmed records are from southern Finland near 60°N.

The soprano pipistrelle is small in size, with brown fur, black wings and a black face.
Not to be confused with: the common pipistrelle. They are almost identical in appearance, but the soprano is slightly smaller. The most reliable way to distinguish the species is by the frequency of their echolocation calls.
