Mating Tree Swallows - Tachycineta bicolor I don&#039;t think I&#039;ve ever seen birds mating in the wild and these two were doing it right above my head, so I had to take a photo. The male was working hard while the female was passively sitting on the branch.<br />

The Tree Swallow is a migratory passerine bird that breeds in North America and winters in Mexico, Central America and the Caribbean. It is a very rare vagrant to western Europe.
