  1. I have waited for many years to capture a half decent photograph of this beautiful bird, after almost 13 years living here this is the first time I have seen one in my garden and I was so excited I jumped for joy when I happened to have my camera in my hand and poised at just the right time. The Wren is notoriously difficult to photograph so I am sure you can understand why I jumped around all excited when landed this. Posted 11 years ago
  2. Beautiful capture! I managed to take some photos of this cute bird a few days ago and shall upload them shortly. Posted 11 years ago

The Eurasian Wren is a very small bird, and the only member of the wren family Troglodytidae found in Eurasia. In Anglophone Europe, it is commonly known simply as the Wren. It was once lumped with "Troglodytes hiemalis" of eastern North America and "Troglodytes pacificus" of western North America as the Winter Wren.
